The Western Australian Psychological Science Conference aims to provide a vibrant, broad-ranging academic psychology conference, uniting scholars and practitioners in our dynamic field across Western Australia. Attendees will engage in illuminating discussions on cutting-edge research, innovative methodologies, and practical applications. The conference organisers have collaborated across WA universities and research institutions with a goal to create an event to promote early-career opportunities, foster collaborative exchanges, and inspire new insights and connections within the diverse and evolving realm of psychology.

Instructions for Presenters
On the day, please load your presentation onto the PC computer in your scheduled venue at least 10 minutes before your session begins. Presenters can do this by bringing their presentation on a USB drive (preferred) or emailing themselves with their presentation to access and load onto the computer on the day.
We will provide presentation clickers in each venue, and there will be an organiser to moderate each session. Moderators will introduce you and will have signs to indicate how much time you have remaining during your talk to help you keep track of time while you present. There will be several organisers around at the conference – including at our registration desk – please seek them out if you need assistance on the day.

The goal of this event is to provide a general state-based psychological science conference which showcases the breadth of psychological science research in Western Australia and fosters communication within the community. The conference is being organised by representatives from all the public WA universities, The Kids Research Institute, and the Australia College of Applied Professionals. There will be a particular focus on student research, and it will be an excellent opportunity for Honours and PhD students to share their work.
